Annisa is a Chinese-Australian author whose writing explores public life, migration, leadership and the subtle human connections that shape civic communities. Published Work - Inside the Town Hall (Chinese edition)
Published in Australia in 2024, this book offers a distinctive perspective shaped by Annisa’s experience as a Chinese-Australian woman councillor. It takes readers inside the everyday moments of local government life, while also guiding them through the rich cultural life and human landscape of Melbourne. Through stories of migration, public service and community connection, the book reflects on how individuals navigate identity and purpose within democratic institutions.
